Climate
CLIMATE IN MAY
Day Temperature:
The weather in August is warm and humid in Jaipur. Daytime temperatures range from 30-38°C, so light and breathable clothing is recommended.
Night Temperature:
At night, temperatures range from 25-30°C, making the evenings relatively pleasant. However, humidity levels can remain high.
Jaipur looks beautiful during this time, with lush greenery after the monsoon rains, creating a vibrant and refreshing atmosphere.
Electricity
Voltage in India is 220 to 240 volts, 50Hz. You will need an adaptor, which can be purchased in India. Hotels usually provide dual voltage razor sockets, 110 to 210 volts or 220 to 250 volts. Please ensure that you bring multi voltage chargers rather than 110 chargers with step-up/step-down transformers. These transformers get too hot and there is a high chance of them exploding. India mostly has round pinholes so please do ensure that you bring a flat to round pinhole converter. This is very important as otherwise you will have a problem in getting your phone and other electrical items charged.
Vaccination
This depends on what locations you will be visiting. Please consult your physician and follow their recommendations. You may also check the Centers for Disease Control website at www.cdc.gov/travel
Travel Insurance
We highly recommend purchasing travel insurance before traveling to India.
