GCBP ABSTRACT SUBMISSION GUIDELINES
SYMPOSIUM SUBMISSION GUIDELINES
- A symposia session is a 90-minute session, including Q & A.
- It is a Group presentation organized around a specific theme.
- The symposium must have a common theme which is the title of the symposium
- The symposium presentations must revolve around that title
- A maximum of 4 presenters, plus chair/co-chairperson.
- All presenters must be presenting topics coordinating with the theme of the symposium
- Submit a title and details of the theme of the symposium and its objectives in 300-400 words
- The submitter (Chair/Lead Presenter of session) adds individual session details and additional presenter information (name and email).
- All presenters in a symposium shall also submit separate abstracts of their individual presentations.
- All abstracts and the symposium details will be subject to review of the Scientific Committee.
- Preference will be given to sessions that include topic recent advances, novelty of topics and even topics that have research-based data.
- The topic must be based in the realm of Biological Psychiatry.
- No travel and accommodation arrangements are provided for those presenting symposia except those INVITED by the Scientific Committee of the Conference.
All presenters in the symposium must register for the conference.
WORKSHOP SUBMISSION
- A workshop session is a 90-minute session, including Q & A.
- It must be interactive, experiential training, skills acquisition, and discussion of treatments through case presentations.
- It can include maximum 2 presenters, plus chair/co-chairperson
- Submit a title and details of the theme of the workshop and its objectives in 300-400 words
- The submitter (Chair/Lead Presenter of session) adds individual session details and additional presenter information (name and email).
- All presenters in a workshop shall also submit separate abstracts of their individual presentations.
- All abstracts and the workshop details will be subject to review of the Scientific Committee.
- Preference will be given to novel and clinically relevant workshops and more so those that pertain to the realm of Biological Psychiatry.
- No travel and accommodation arrangements are provided for those presenting workshops except those INVITED by the Scientific Committee of the Conference.
All presenters in the workshop must register for the conference.
POSTER PRESENTATION
- A poster session showcases your research and allows viewers to study your information and discuss it with you one-on-one.
- Successful poster presentations rely heavily on graphical presentation of key findings and large font sizes so that they can be read from a distance. Less content and greater readability is often preferable.
- The presenting author must be present during the poster session.
- The poster must be an original research or a case report that highlights some facet of biological psychiatry and psychopharmacology.
- The presenter will have to be present for the entire duration of his or her poster session.
- The abstract shall include a title, objectives, methods, results, and a conclusion (300 words maximum).
- The abstracts shall be scrutinized by the Scientific Committee and then acceptance would be conveyed to the presenter.
- The presenting author must register for the conference.
- No travel or accommodation arrangements are provided to those presenting a poster.
FREE PAPER PRESENTATION
- A free paper session showcases your research and allows delegates to hear about your study and discuss it with you one-on-one.
- Successful presentations rely heavily on graphical presentation of key findings and large font sizes so that they can be read from a distance. Less content and greater readability is often preferable in the presentations.
- The presenting author must be present during the free paper session.
- The free paper must be original research or a case series that highlights some facet of biological psychiatry and psychopharmacology.
- The abstract shall include a title, objectives, methods, results, and a conclusion (300 words maximum).
- The abstracts shall be scrutinized by the Scientific Committee and then acceptance would be conveyed to the presenter.
- The free paper shall get a presenting time of 10 mins and 3 mins for question and answers.
- The presenting author must register for the conference.
- No travel or accommodation arrangements are provided to those presenting a free paper.
CERTAIN OTHER RULES
- After acceptance, changes in presenting author are not allowed except with express permission of the Scientific Program Committee Chair
- Your name, address, e-mail, telephone, and fax information are used for various communications throughout the meeting planning process. Please check that the information that you enter is accurate, thus ensuring that our communications will reach you in a timely manner.
- The conference is scheduled for August 27th to 30th By submitting, you agree to present on any of those days.
- All abstracts shall be published in a Souvenir of the conference.
- Your acceptance to present your abstract obligates you to register for conference.
- If the presenting author cannot attend, presentation by a co-author or colleague familiar with the research is requested.
- Notify us with the name of the new presenter.
- If no one can present, e-mail to withdraw your abstract from the program.
